The crazy GP2X F-200 Gamepark handheld is available today for $169 on Play-Asia. What's so special about this handheld? For one, it's running Linux and can play back DivX, XVid and MPEG4 at 30FPS, or TV-Out your movies that are encoded at 720x480. For two, it supports emulation, which means you can load your old ROMs on there and play NES/SNES and other retro games you download for free off the internet. So in essence, you could be playing Super Mario 3 and watching that Fred Savage movie about Super Mario 3 on the same device! Did we mention that it was only $169?

POSBRO G100 MOBILE WiMAX GAMING DEVICE
With all of the news coming out of Wimax World USA this week, it's plain to see why 2008 will be the breakout year for the high speed wireless technology. But how about some Mobile Wimax device news? POSDATA has some, with the unveiling of the POSBRO G100 Mobile WiMAX Gaming Device, a new gaming platform that will enable gaming enthusiasts to download games and access the Internet using high-speed Mobile WiMAX connections. The company claims that the G100 (FLYVO) is the first Mobile Wimax gaming device, but maybe they never saw the iRiver G10 WiBro (mobile wimax) portable gaming console that was announced over a year ago. Or maybe they have, the devices have a similar design, don't you think?
While the G100 terminal works with games developed by POSBRO, it does give an idea of the kinds of Mobile Wimax devices we will see beginning in 2008. The G100 will operate in its initial release at 2.3GHz and 2.5GHz bands according to POSDATA.
The G100 has an embedded four-inch TFT-LCD touch-screen with a wide view, and also includes a sliding-style game pad. The product supports Mobile WiMAX, Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth, allowing the user to select the best available network connection. Expect the official release of the G100 by the end of this year.
POSDATA also offers the U100 USB-type terminal that allows a user to connect it to a notebook and access Mobile WiMAX network. The U100 will be released next month.

This month’s issue of the UK's Official PlayStation Magazine has the exclusive review of FIFA 09, and the word on the terraces is that it's by far the best FIFA yet. The game gets a high-flying 9 out of 10 from OPM and much praised is heaped upon Be A Pro mode in particular."In terms of presentation, FIFA's always been streets ahead of archrival PES, and that's still the case here," OPM notes in its review. "Combine that with the emergence of the now-essential Be A Pro and the balance of power has definitely shifted."Has FIFA really bested PES? Well, we'll add our own opinion to the annual FIFA vs PES debate just as soon as we've had some proper hands-on time with both games. If you want to know what else OPM has to say about FIFA 09 in its exhaustive, all-angles covered review, get down the shops and pick up a copy of OPM23. It's on sale in the UK now. Go get it.surely its fifas year unless pro pulls out somethin spectacular i mean opm gave fifa 08 a 6/10 and that was harsh imo so this must really be amazin for them to give a 9
